This little gem was recommended by a colleague and I’m so glad I took her advice. The food and service is incredible. I chose Italian wedding soup as a side with my entree Mediterranean chicken and both were delicious. The chicken breasts are topped with a layer of spinach, artichoke and caper sauce, then black olives and feta. It was so good I took a friend the next evening. We had the Nantucket which was white fish stuffed with crab and topped with cheese sauce and a burger. The food was amazing! If you get a chance to visit here you won’t be disappointed. The service was excellent both times.

I love their grilled cheese. Sadly on December 13th 2023 at 3:15pm. We ended up with the worst service ever. We begged for bread well waiting 45 minutes for cold food. My great Aunt who has sugar diabetes look like she was going to pass out. For 45 minutes our waitress kept walking past us when we kept waving our hands asking for some bread and butter. we kept asking to see if we could have something for my aunt to eat and there was nothing there. Then they served us freezing cold food that like it sat for like 20-40 minutes on the counter. They could have brought my aunt's applesauce out to her.... but No they didn't We probably spend at least $80 or more for cold food and terrible service 😭 And guess what they brought out the bread just as we were leaving. I've never been so sad in my life going out to eat at any establishment.

Excellent bar food. The chips were crispy and delicious served hot and fresh. The six layer lasagna came with meatballs and was a large portion size. The house salad with croutons for a side. Good value for the prices. The service was friendly and efficient.

Went again on Saturday and got the monroe burger, added banana peppers and it was really good. I only ate part of it, it was big. I asked for med well and it was perfect! Would definitely return again! Dont mine the picture I almost forgot and started cutting and smooshing it so I could eat! It was packed so service was slow but we understood. Others got a pastrami sandwich and a chicken sandwich and they both liked them. Old review below Food was good, waitress was friendly and attentive, I'd return

This is probably one of the best places that I’ve found to eat in Butler, PA. The food is great! You have a large selection to choose from. My servers were pleasant and friendly. You have the option of eating in a bar or family type setting. Parking is adjacent to the building.

Every time we come to Butler, Pennsylvania, to visit my father-in-law, we always come to the Monroe Hotel. Relaxed atmosphere serving good food and at affordable prices. The cocktails are tasty and priced just right. Strongly recommend this place if your in Butler.
